Kai is DailyNyan's editor and lead writer, a foreigner who fell in love with Japan one small discovery at a time, a vending machine glowing on a quiet street, a local soccer game drifting through an open window, a convenience store snack that somehow tastes like childhood.

A lifelong enthusiast of Japanese culture, he collects stories the way others collect stamps, the ramen shop that trained its robots to boil noodles, the shrine festival that switched to e tickets, the grandmother streaming her morning walk to forty thousand followers. If it has a heartbeat or a power cable, Kai wants to know its story.

His long term dream is to grow DailyNyan big enough to support a year round Kodomo Shokudou. His short term dream is to stop Mochi from stealing his snacks.
